The Security Command Center Operator (SCCO) has the responsibility to ensure the operating systems in place such as, CCure 9000 (card access system), Phoenix (alarm system) and CCTVs (video cameras) are always monitored and to respond to all emergencies as they arise. As such it is the expectation the SCCO always remain in the Command Center. During periods where more than one SCC is on post, one of the SCCOs may leave the SCC for minimal periods of time to use the restroom or cafeteria. A minimum of 2 SCCOs must be on post to provide a relief for the receptionist. At no time is the SCC to be left unmanned.

The Command Center Operator also has the responsibility to monitor the Patrol Officers, Lobby Officer, and Receptionist on their shift. Command Center Operators get any additional instructions from their Account Manager or PPL Corporate Security Services Personnel.

The Command Center Operator needs to provide good customer service while having a positive attitude, good appearance, and knowledge of Command Center Systems, PPL departments, facilities, and personnel. You must also be able to handle emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

Command Center Operator will man the Security Command Center. Duties include the following: monitor all access control; monitor the CCTV system, especially the areas of Hamilton St, 9 th St, Court St, and the Loading Dock. Other duties include activation of new badges; monitoring the alarm systems and providing the proper response to any alarms received; responding to emergency (1-2-3) line as needed; running the assigned daily system reports. Send all badge rejection e-mails. Ensure that all officers assigned to the shift are performing their assigned duties.

Below are duties that the Command Center Operator might experience in a normal shift:

  • Monitor and operate CCURE 9000 for access violations, system problems and access card administration.

  • Monitor Phoenix system for processing alarms throughout the PPL service territory.

  • Monitor CCTV for any security incidents.

  • Assign duties to Patrol Officer.

  • Relieve the Lobby Receptionist for breaks and/or lunch.

  • Open and/or close Lobby Receptionist work area.

  • Assist Facilities Management employees with security needs.

  • Schedule escort services.

  • Answer and follow-up on 1-2-3 emergency line calls.

  • Schedule rest breaks for Patrol Officer, Lobby Officer, and Receptionist.

  • Process administrative forms and reports.

  • interact with corp security on a day-to-day basis and executives

  • dispatch responders to ensure sites are secure

Earn up to 19.32 an hour following a merit program, dispatcher/command center experience required

Allied Universal® is hiring a Dispatch Operator . The Dispatch Center serves as central hub contact for scheduling, planning transportation requirements, emergency response and any other scheduling and service request coverage requirements. The Patient Support Staff Dispatch Operator is directly responsible for the customer support between our customers, local offices, and the Patient Support Staff. This position is responsible for proper response to activations as well as determining if all systems are operating correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process calls received on all designated telephone lines; answering phones; operate IP based telephone system

  • Accurately record information provided by callers, question them to determine location and nature of the problem and accurately classify as an emergency or non-emergent call once classified also prioritizing them as directed in the standard operating procedures

  • Simultaneously perform various tasks while in reception of multiple audio and visual sources (channels, talk groups, monitors, etc.) while maintain a professional voice tone during all communication

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must possess one or more of the following:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a call center, transportation route management, staff management, command/control center, or a related field

  • Associate’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Business Administration combined with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience with direct customer interaction

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

  • 21+ Years of Age

  • Security Experience - +1 Years

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Access Control/Badge Experience

  • Alarm Panel Experience

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet

  • Customer Service Experience
