Allied Universal® is hiring a Vertical Markets Manager, Commercial Real Estate. The Vertical Markets Manager primary focus of this role is to serve as a critical escalation point for a high-profile customer and internal stakeholders, and to help deliver security programs that are measurably superior to those of our competitors in the market. This position will provide guidance and oversight relating to service assurance, client retention, and program administration, in a multi-party outsourced security services environment. Key areas of support include, operational reviews, performance metric tracking, strategic relationship management and contract compliance within established master services agreements. The Vertical Markets Manager will work with the clients’ procurement executives, showcasing and adhering to Allied Universal’s capabilities and strengths while also serving as the liaison with the appropriate branch offices and corporate support functions. The position requires approximately 35% domestic travel to client locations as well as other Allied Universal offices when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive sales development, revenue growth, and ongoing support of security programs for large real estate clients; objectives to include establishing best practices, client retention, expansion of services within accounts, and formulation of policies in accordance with applicable AUS policies, regulations and standards.

Engage directly with client account teams, Alliance Directors, and regional sourcing teams, act as a liaison between client teams and AUS regional branch teams; respond to critical issues and coordinate and implement resolution on behalf of Allied Universal
Manage quality assurance programs for select customers; track and report compliance related data for strategic vertical accounts, analyze for trends and provide suggestions for continuous improvement
Identify security issues and opportunities and recommend solutions to client’s corporate security team
Lead and/or participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) of assigned accounts
Assist with billing/accounts receivable resolution on assigned accounts not in compliance with contracted terms
Conduct periodic site visits and audits of accounts to verify regulatory, contractual and policy compliance and report findings to the appropriate management level
Provide in-depth support at sites where issues have been identified that could impact the retention of the account
Assist with transitions and account set ups as well as significant involvement with client retention initiatives
Know, adhere to, and enforce standards as listed in the AUS Employee Handbook and client performance standards
Drive proactive engagement between AUS service divisions (Technology, Risk Advisory & Consulting, etc.) and client account teams to ensure AUS technology solutions are integrated into service delivery
Utilize WinTeam, DOMO and other programs to produce and deliver key performance indicators and relevant reports which require interpretation and action for effective business management
Performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, providing quality customer service, and assisting in achieving the financial goals and objectives of Allied Universal and the CRE & FM Vertical. Ensure contract compliance at all assigned properties. Identify security issues and opportunities and recommend solutions to client’s corporate security team. Respond to critical incidents at client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must meet one of the following:
College degree in Management, Business Administration, or any related field
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing the customer relations and contract compliance with a large national or regional customer base
Minimum of five (5) years of contract security-related project/key account management experience in a multi-location environment with demonstrated ability to deliver efficiencies
Demonstrated experience managing customer accounts, particularly as part of a portfolio-based model with geographically dispersed locations and/or multiple accounts reporting up to a single client
Proven track record of developing and engaging people to achieve superior results
Self-starter with strong ability to "get things done" internally and externally through personal influence (vs. direct authority)
Flexible and adaptable to working with both internal clients and external clients, acting as a liaison and advocate for the interest of both parties, towards reaching mutually beneficial outcomes
Exceptional ability to collaborate with high-level executives in both the client/prospect organization and their own organization
Demonstrated ability to work in and facilitate a team-oriented management environment to help solve problems and grow the business
Apply appropriate judgment and risk analysis to business decisions
Neat and professional appearance in accordance with set standards
Ability to provide quality customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor
Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Knowledge and experience with quality and continuous improvement tools and practices
Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.
Willingness to travel as needed, including extended overnight stays with the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required (travel is estimated at 25-30%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Project Management experience is a plus
Demonstrated working knowledge of the security and safety industry
Familiarity with client work order management systems (Corrigo) and supplier risk management tools (Avetta, ISNet, GRMS)
Demonstrated, proven experience in the 3rd party managed real estate environment
Prior law enforcement and/or military police experience
Prior global account management experience
American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
Experience in development and implementation of security policies and procedures
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or equivalent area of study
Advanced military education or training
Able to professionally execute and/or supervise all phases of an investigation employing interviewing techniques, computer forensics, statement collection, report writing, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of security hardware, intrusion detection/alarm, video surveillance and access control systems, electronic security issues and safeguards
