Allied Universal currently seeks Security Guards in Ayr Ontario . The ideal candidate for the position is excellent with customers and has an impressive ability to communicate.

Schedule: Must be able to work afternoon shift (4 pm to Midnight Monday to Friday)

Must haves: Valid Security Guard License

Work Setting: Inside - Manufacturing plant / office setting / Gatehouse

Assignments: Deter theft, patrol, provide strong security presence, access control

Capabilities: Strong customer service, attention to detail, standing, sitting and walking

Specific Skills : Enforce regulations of establishments, Resolve conflict situations, Maintain order, follow emergency procedures. Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Write reports.

Other Details: No cost uniform, monetary incentives, room for position advancement

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 per hour (Full Individual Benefits at no cost kick in after 3 months of service)

We are seeking a Security Guard to become an integral part of our security team, please see the job description below:

Signing Bonus ($100) paid at the completion of onsite training

Retention Bonus ($250) being offered to successful candidates that are hired for with the company and remain for a minimum of 90 days.


  • Perform gatehouse traffic duties

  • Provide Customer Service

  • Sign trucks and visitors in and out for deliveries or pick ups

  • Computer skills are required for email and data entry (truck information)

  • Respond to emergency situations

  • Sign in visitors

  • Perform exterior and interior building patrols

  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations

  • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes

‚Äč Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario Security License

  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is a plus!

  • Familiarity with security equipment

  • Strong attention to detail

Monday to Friday 4 pm to Midnight (Full time permanent)
