Allied Universal is looking to hire a Manager.

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal

authorization to work permanently in the United States for any

employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

In addition, to be a good fit for the Manager, Health, Safety

and Environment opportunity, you will have:

A bachelor’s degree in Safety, Emergency Management

or another related field

Solid experience in health and safety-related

management within the safety environment, including:

Operations safety in process-driven industries

(petro-chemical, power, etc.)

Construction safety

Strong leadership skills and experience overseeing both

processes and people; management experience is

preferred, but you might have demonstrated these skills

as a team lead or similar

Demonstrated working knowledge of regulatory standards and associated laws related to safety and environment

At least one of the following certifications:

Current Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire and CSP within 18

months

Current Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or the ability to obtain it within 12 months if currently ASP certified

Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification and/or foreign (non-US) certifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
