Allied Universal is currently hiring a Client Portfolio Director to lead airport security operations for a large client throughout Hawaii. The primary role of the Client Portfolio Director is to enhance client experiences, build long term meaningful client relationships, and engage with employees that deliver our services in the field. The Director will achieve goals and objectives, ensure the highest level of Security Officer quality and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service, build and retain profitable business growth and hire and develop strong talent. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools, and guidance. The ideal candidate has a very good understanding of the political, social and cultural environment of the Hawaiian islands.

Experience in leadership positions in aviation and aviation security is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead by example, fostering participation, ownership, execution, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and financial management

  • Set direction and create client-specific plans to meet service levels and deliver measurable results

  • Focus on hiring, developing, and retaining hourly Security Officers and salaried leaders

  • Engage with clients regularly to enhance the value of Allied Universal's services

  • Coordinate daily operations with Operations Managers and other personnel for quality and cost-effective service delivery

  • Ensure all contractually scheduled hours are met with minimal non-billed overtime

  • Coach, counsel, and develop personnel for career advancement opportunities

  • Utilize WinTeam for scheduling, billing, and generating actionable business management reports

  • Enforce Allied policies as outlined in handbooks and executive memos

  • Collaborate with all organizational levels to solve problems and drive continuous improvement

  • Act as a liaison between Allied Universal and clients, fostering strong customer relationships

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare timely reports, both manually and through automated systems

  • Ensure regular attendance to avoid frequent tardiness or absences

  • Actively participate in community and business organizations

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a related field plus at least 5 years of leadership experience. Contract security, proprietary security services, military/law enforcement experience is highly desired. In addition, we require the following skills:

  • Previous customer service, account management, sales, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience is preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, client relations, leadership and organizational skills

  • Strong decision making skills and the ability to conduct courageous conversations

  • Manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees, and client requirements on an ongoing basis

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a timely manner any changes or recommendations that could have impact on our service image, relationship or brand

  • In-depth understanding of financial performance

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude

  • An experienced leader who identifies, develops and engages people to achieve superior results. Passionate about coaching and development

  • Ability to deal with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with fair employment practices and perform employee investigations

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Base salary: $100,000 to $150,000, plus bonus

  • Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance

  • Enrollment in our company’s 401 (k) or Supplemental Income Plan, subject to eligibility requirements

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days

  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law
