Allied Universal Event Services ® is hiring a Project Manager. The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing on site event deployment activities to ensure successful execution of Allied Universal Event Services programs and services. The Project Manager will also be responsible for performance tactical hands on aspects of event deployment in a technical aspect.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.
Effectively execute on pre-planning activities prior to the event to insure all necessary logistical and human capital needs are covered to include but not limited to:
Attend all planning calls with client’s point of contact to understand full scope of event
Planning of equipment needed
Preparation of pre-planning prior to event to include but not limited to:
Create camera map for client as needed
Daily on-site scheduling
Prioritizing daily tasks
Logistical consideration forecasting and planning
Pre-plan with IT/Network vendor regarding VLAN, interconnect, frequency coordination.
Act as on-site manager providing direction to staff as needed to ensure
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Liaise with event leadership and client point of contact to ensure seamless coordination during event deployment.
Oversee the installation of temporary security cameras, install and configure IP video cameras and wireless cameras as well as the removal of these cameras.

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
Must possess one or more of the following:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Construction Management, Management, or related field
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
One year or more of project management experience
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Demonstration of effective cross-cultural communication: Clearly communicate with individuals, business units, the entire company, and to stakeholders outside the organization.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
Able to focus and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.
Must have understanding of IP and subnet configuration.
Excellent organizational skills that include the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions under pressure.
Proficient in various mapping tools and technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with leadership.
This role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.

Previous experience in the Event Security field.
Experience with Video Management Systems, IP video cameras and wireless P2P/P2MP equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
Outside environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures expected
Physical effort to include standing, walking, and sitting, stooping or kneeling
Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law

Up to 95% Travel
