The Monitoring Migration Program Manager will provide overall plan design elements, coordination of the groups and personnel actions, support to teams, assist in the engineering of tasks and requisition of resources, set-up, communication, and reporting of results, as well as ongoing support tasks associated with new acquisitions which have 3 rd party monitored alarm customer end-points. The role will receive guidance from the management team and provide situation and status updates as applicable to the project and/or tasks at hand. The MMPM will work closely with Branch Operations personnel including, but not limited to, Installation and Service Managers, Field Technicians, Service Coordinators, Project Managers as well as MaRC support personnel in planning, decision making, and executing actions for the realization of the overall program objectives. The guiding principles for this role will be rooted in the concept of well-planned and timely actions associated with moving monitored accounts from 3 rd party service providers to our own Monitoring and Response Center and the communications and reporting thereof.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide plan details and tasks for migration of accounts from a 3 rd party monitored service location to the Monitoring and Response Center.

  • Coordinate with AUTS Branch office personnel, 3 rd party service providers, MaRC support personnel, IT resource members, and other stakeholders in the planning of transition work.

  • When applicable, coordinate the management of service jobs for routine inspections, scheduled service calls, and/or downloading of the end-point equipment to transition the customer to the MaRC.

  • Provide input to complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of activity – both planned and already executed.

  • Assist with other duties as needed to facilitate the processes and keep organized records of activity and results.

  • Where applicable to utilize or coordinate the use of remote access tools to identify, diagnose, and create end-point equipment migrations.

  • Assist Service Managers and Coordinators with coordination of migration activity as needed.

  • Accesses remote programming applications to connect with alarm systems (Where applicable) and make program changes to accomplish a transition of the end-point device from the 3 rd party service provider to the Monitoring and Response Center.

  • Assist field technicians with the testing / re-programming of endpoint equipment

  • Schedules and coordinates “line-swing” activity and planning with all applicable stakeholders and team members.

  • Update stakeholder and teammates in a timely manner.

  • Creates and manages cost analysis reports as well as other supporting information as required.

  • Program parameters in its design and configuration

  • Various reporting functions

  • New acquisition 3 rd party service provider review

  • Evaluation of necessary software and hardware to complete the objectives

  • Training support as needed for team members and Branch Ops personnel

  • Special programming event coordination

  • Collaborating with Accounting to reconcile invoicing

  • Other administrative duties may be associated and assigned to this position

Knowledge & Skills

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required, with minimum two-year degree or professional certification “highly desired”; Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.

  • Minimum 3 years’ security industry related experience, alarm service hardware, electronic security, field experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

  • Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.

  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion. Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization while functioning as a team player.
