SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Responsible for creation and delivery of the Learning & Development Program within Global Safety & Security. The position reports into the Strategic Programs team and includes:

  • Responsibility for all training requirements and execution of training

  • Measurement on effective engagement

  • Strategic planning to continuously evolve Learning & Development tracks for personnel

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing excellent customer service and collaborative rapport

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Experience in career development learning tracks

  • Effective communication skills with senior management

  • Great team player: ability to work well cross-functionally with subject matter experts to create the most effective training materials

  • Professionalism

  • Experience establishing a Learning & Development program, and understanding of a Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Experience with Adobe Captivate Prime is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES (Major Duties)

  • Create and deliver a comprehensive Safety & Security training program for:

  • GSOC Security Officers- Responsible for all aspects of their training, to include, but not limited to, documentation of training program, superior execution of GSOC duties, excellent customer service, customer interaction, excellent communications skills, report writing, professionalism, effective execution of EAGs, comprehension and execution of all department documentation, comprehension and proficiency related to all relevant databases, ownership of post assignments and of interaction with all persons related to post assignments, career development planning, and potential offsite/hosted third party training opportunities

  • Managers – Training to include, but not limited to, documentation of training program, superior execution of management duties, management career development plans, excellent customer service, excellent communications skills, professionalism, effective execution of EAGs, comprehension and execution of all department documentation, comprehension, proficiency related to all relevant databases, potential offsite/hosted third party training opportunities, taking ownership of all operational documentation and being aware of when and how to update information for the team.

  • Provides an ongoing monthly calendar schedule of training dates and topics

  • Measures and tracks effectiveness of learning

  • Develop strategy for a learning track model for growth and development across roles

  • Conducts direct training of personnel with an emphasis on on-site, hands-on training and utilizes post orders to confirm compliance

  • Conducts all emergency action drills, unless agreed upon with a shift operations manager, health and safety coordinator or corporate management, for direct evaluation via proxy. It is expected multiple drills on all shifts will be completed weekly, with an expected minimum amount of drills to be six or more per week, preferably equally divided between shifts

  • Provide weekly documented email updates and comprehensive documented monthly updates to the security management team related to the progress, milestones, achievements, and projection planning of the program

  • Maintains and tracks individual training records related to officers assigned to account. This function ls a co-shared responsibility with the Shift Operations Managers

  • Maintains individual training records related to officers assigned to account

  • Hours Include a combination of Day, Swing, and Grave Shifts, or a combination of a modified Grave & Day shift to conduct drills and Swing shifts

  • Create and deliver training modules for all Strategic Programs – Responsible for all aspects of training development and execution. This includes working with SMEs and leading training support for ERT, systems training including Visitor Management, ServiceNow workflows, etc.

  • Collaborate with Strategic Programs team to develop training best practices for overall Safety Awareness geared to employees; Help promote and find opportunities for awareness messaging both within GSS team and to broader client Audience (newsletters, promotional fairs, etc.)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or equivalent experience

  • Emergency Response experience and/or Training

  • Global Security Operations Center Leadership Experience

  • Some Security Systems Knowledge and Experience

  • Active Guard Card
