Allied Universal Project Manager – Strategy and Operations in Santa Ana, California

This position will be a core member of the Corporate Strategy team. Primary responsibility will be to project manage a program called “Workforce Management,” which focuses on providing tools and process to help our operational leaders effectively staff and schedule our 200,000+ employees. Skills needed include: the ability to proactively manage complex projects, detail orientation, and strong communication skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Project manage weekly activities of our operational leaders.

  • Engage and train operators and leaders that may need extra support.

  • Utilize and develop on our business intelligence tool (Domo).

  • Provide support to the Corporate Strategy team across a variety of other initiatives on an as-needed basis.

  • Outstanding performance in undergraduate studies; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.

  • Expert with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

  • Working knowledge of SQL is preferred; willingness to learn is required

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required

  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion. Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence. Must be able to work overtime as needed
