Enterprise Accounts Finance and Metrics Manager

Allied Universal is currently seeking a skilled Finance and Metrics Manager, to support a major Enterprise Accounts portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading client cash collections from ideation through to completion

  • Monitoring of all invoicing for the portfolio, including, but not limited to:

  • Confirmation that each invoice has been received and processed by the client (using their online portal)

  • Correction and re-submission of invoices that fail to properly transmit or be accepted.

  • Coordination with EAPMs to identify client or site POCs to facilitate the investigation of invoice errors, then correction and submission of updated invoices to the client.

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; track at a detailed invoice level of issues causing payment delays and diligent management of achieving the next step in order to unlock remove the underlying issue by creating invoice level SLA’s

  • Refinement and evolution of reporting spreadsheets and tracking tools, including, but not limited to:

  • Upkeep and maintenance of existing tools;

  • Creation and refinement of new or updated tools; and,

  • Coordination with the client to define future usability or features, and planning/implementation of those as needed.

  • Work with Shared Services to facilitate customer and job updates

  • Review invoice rejections and liaise with account managers to resolve

  • Analyze invoice adjustments to identify the root cause of issues

  • Weekly compilation and reporting of performance metrics for all sites in the portfolio;

  • Provide oversight and support in all administrative functions including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, and metrics gathering and communications;

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; track at a detailed invoice level of issues causing payment delays and diligent management of achieving the next step in order to correct the underlying issue by creating invoice level SLA’s;

  • Responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading client cash collections from ideation through to completion;

  • Work with Enterprise Accounts team to monitor client receivables to ensure early problem resolution;

  • Work with Shared Services to facilitate customer and job updates;

  • Review invoice rejections and liaise with account managers to resolve;

  • Analyze invoice adjustments to identify the root cause of issues;

  • Leverage tools to quickly identify issues with large data sets;

  • Work with clients to resolve issues;

  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, with Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, subtotals, filters, formulas including vlook-ups and sum-ifs); must be very comfortable with large amounts of data;

  • Highly proficient user of online accounting/finance tools;

  • Experienced in the use of WinTeam;

  • Experienced in compiling data for formal presentations to senior leadership and clients;

  • Experienced in senior-level corporate and client meetings for data presentation, planning, and client retention.

  • Use a Strategic/Consulting mindset to find the right solution that is hindering the process and implement the correct process to achieve success

  • Exceptional customer services skills to ensure a strong relationship with large customers are maintained

  • Demonstrated problem solving, confidence, and decision-making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines using analytical capabilities

  • Optimistic, high energy, and operates with a sense of urgency

  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems and adapt to ongoing challenges

  • Ability to work across cross-function teams

  • Strong analytical, project management, presentation, and follow-through skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail in evaluating and recommending changes to current processes

Qualifications

  • At least a 4-year Bachelor’s level degree in a financial, project management, or other relevant field experience;

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in process improvement in the billing, shared services, sales operations, or finance functions;

  • Prefer experience in a large company or consulting firm.
