Deposita, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager (RCS-Deposita) is responsible for providing operational support and management of HR and Recruiting functional activities including but not limited to: Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning, Employee Retention, HR compliance, Employee Relations, Leadership Development, and Employee Communications. throughout a multi-state area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Vice-President of HR and Recruiting act as a stand-alone strategic and tactical business partner to with President (RCS-Deposita), and other business leadership team members, by understanding their unique client and business objectives, and providing proactive counsel, recommendations, and support to meet their needs; build strong relationships with all management in business, understand client expectations and site-specific challenges, and provide advice and solutions to meet business needs while ensuring legal compliance and consistent application of company policies
Effectively manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment/sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
In partnership with Third Party Administrators and local management, administer leaves of absence, FMLA, PTO, etc.; Employee and/or Labor Relations activity, disciplinary actions; Implementing Customer transitions; Workers Comp management; Unemployment claims management, and employee records changes in HRIS
Conduct (or oversee the activities of) all investigations into discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, or other labor law complaints, ensuring proper documentation, interviewing procedures, and follow up activities are taken, under the guidance and oversight of the Vice President of Human Resources, act as a representative for Allied Universal in all HR related legal actions against the company
Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, create, implement, and monitor the application of all employee policies and procedures within assigned business to ensure compliance with labor laws, state and federal regulations, and sound business practices; conduct training sessions with managers and supervisors and identify and communicate the need for new/revised policies based on changing business needs and/or legal requirements
Responsible for various Human Resource projects, either as assigned by Vice President of Human Resources or as self-initiated, including ongoing opportunities for automation, efficiency, accuracy, cost-reduction, and/or improved legal compliance; actively participate in annual strategic planning process to identify such projects, then create and execute plans to ensure on-time completion of deliverables
Maintain oversight for field auditing and compliance; to conduct quarterly field audits, internal auditing procedures, and other processes to ensure company standards and legal requirements are being followed (such as I-9 compliance, HRIS and HR record keeping/maintenance, and other similar processes)
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning

Ensure Affirmative Action Program compliance and planning; oversight of all recruiting, selection, and placement processes; implement corrective actions as needed
Where applicable, manage all aspects of Collective Bargaining Agreements to ensure compliance, fulfillment of technical requirements, and awareness of Company philosophies regarding union relations; build and maintain strong relationships with union representatives to minimize labor relations issues, conduct supervisor/manager training to strengthen consistent application of policies and procedures, and manage all grievances in a timely and effective manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess one or more of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business, or a related field with four (4) years of human resources business partner experience
Associate degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business, or a related field with six (6) years of human resources business partner experience
High School diploma with eight (8) years of human resources business partner experience
Minimum of four (4) human resources managerial experience required, including direct responsibility for employee relations, policy and procedure development and administration, workers’ compensation and safety program management, and senior level business involvement
Experience with multi-state operations in a highly regulated service industry and/or oversight in organization with high-volume entry-level workforce
Working knowledge of automated payroll/HRIS/Talent Acquisitions systems
Strong working knowledge of all labor laws in all states for which incumbent would be responsible (geographic region), as well as extensive knowledge of relevant federal employment laws/regulations, workers’ compensation/OSHA procedures and regulations, and discrimination/harassment investigation and defense procedures
Excellent customer-service skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals professionally in a courteous and professional manner, and to de-escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant
Ability to take initiative and successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
Able to use good independent judgment and discretion
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player
Able to articulate policies and procedures in a clear, concise manner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA or advanced HR-related degree
Professional Human Resources certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, GPHR)
Previous Talent Acquisition experience in particular ICIMS system
