Allied Universal Travel Executive Protection Manager in United States

The Travel Executive Protection Manager is responsible for providing management and administrative coordination support under the Client’s Executive Protection Operations program and maintaining a positive client-detail perception and interaction by applying sound leadership principles and judgement at all times. The Travel EP Manager will balance customer service and best practices in executive security based on expertise. This is a full-time position that will require approximately 50% travel.

Duties:

  • Define, manage and supervise the protective strategy, resources, and training for the client organization.

  • Primary point of contact for the principal for overall protective physical security. Liaise with the client and their support staff to address and mitigate security concerns.

  • Manage and supervise Contractor resources assigned to the client to ensure high quality and consistent levels of security.

  • Conduct threat assessments of domestic and international locations. Supervise and review security advances and coordinate protective services for client and client principal(s). Coordinate with third party protective details as necessary.

  • Respond to incidents involving suspicious packages, protestors, media, and the public.

  • Participate in the planning of company events to ensure a safe and secure venue. Provide special security arrangement for events involving client principals.

  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with changing requirements.

  • Ability to gather and assess information while exercising sound judgement, logic, and reasoning in the decision-making process. Escalate issues appropriately to leadership.

  • Provide regular consistent communication regarding issues relating to employment, payroll benefits, and leave with the Director of Global Special Services or Human Resources.

  • Attend regular client protective team meetings.

  • Demonstrate understanding of the service relationship with the client. Maintain professional boundaries while working with the client or their service providers.

  • Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information of the company and the client.

  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills (collaboration, communication, cooperation, etc.) in a cross-functional team (RST and EP) environment. Provide and receive constructive feedback for improvement of operations.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks in an organized, efficient, and effective manner.

  • Ability to establish credibility and be accountable by operating with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.

  • Maintain professional personal appearance.

  • Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of combined experience in executive protection, secure transportation, residential security, travel support, and event support.

  • Military, corporate security, and/or law enforcement background preferred.

  • Extensive medical experience (EMT, First Responder, 18D, Paramedic, Navy Corpsman) is desired.

  • Must be able to pass a PFT (Physical Fitness Test) upon employment as well as annually.

  • 1 mile run in 8:30 or less

  • 50 or more push-ups in 2 minutes

  • 50 or more sit ups in 2 minutes

  • Drag 150 pounds for 25 meters

  • 5 pull-ups (reverse or overhead grip or dead hang) for 30 seconds

  • A strong base knowledge in all facets of protective operations required. Experience and understanding of security in corporate environments.

  • Experience securely transporting clients in all types of ground vehicle operations. Attendance in a defensive driving course (EVOC) is preferred.

  • Advanced understanding of technology-based protective applications.

  • Successful completion of a course in Executive Protection from a reputable executive protection training school.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the motor vehicle insurance policy.

  • Must possess a valid passport for international travel.

  • Advanced training on defensive tactics and driving specific to executive protection.

  • Must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Must have effective listening skills and be open to different and new ways of doing things.

  • Must have the capacity to cope with unexpected developments and act decisively to ensure the safety and security of the team, client, and guests.

  • Must have good organization and time management skills with an attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point) is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

$120,000 annually
